Fourteen NFOs Are Open. Half of Them Follow a Single Sector
FinSet's NFO tracker reads the AMFI new fund offer feed every morning. On 7 August 2026 it showed fourteen offers open or closing soon. Not one is an actively managed equity scheme. Seven of the fourteen follow a single sector, three of those banks.

The Cost Gap Widened This Month. The Reason Is Not the Obvious One
FinSet recomputes the Regular-minus-Direct expense gap every month from AMFI's own disclosures. The July numbers pushed the top of the active-equity band from 1.3 percent to 1.4 percent. No fund house raised a fee. The old band was simply measured too narrow at the top.
